 | I’m Amber, the sole artist behind the brand “Cactasea”. I am a creative, ocean obsessed, nature loving soul who is happiest when my hands are dirty & I am lost in the process of handcrafting silver pieces for you. Silversmithing is something I instantly fell in love with after attending a handful of workshops & is now something I have taken upon myself to fine tune the art of. Although the creating side of the business is a one woman show, my partner is always helping behind the scenes with the little things which is why you will often hear me referring to the business with words like “we” and “our”. His support never goes unnoticed or unappreciated. I truly value the little things in life & believe the simplest act of putting on a piece of your favourite jewellery in the morning can bring so much happiness to your day. I have always been fond of handmade products, carefully crafted by two hands and a creative mind. Celebrating the beauty of imperfection and authenticity. The work that goes into handmade is to be truly appreciated. I take pride in my work and hope you can find something that speaks to you & when you pop it on, takes you to a white sandy beach on a summers day or to a crisp mountain top on a dewy winters morning. |
About Cactasea
Cactasea was born when I finally took the plunge to start my own business by intertwining my creative side with my passion for the ocean and outdoors. I get my inspiration for my work from spending a lot of my spare time by the sea combing the sand for shells or hiking up in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle. Each piece begins with ethically sourcing and carefully selecting a natural stone or shell and turning it into something you can cherish for years to come.
Unlike jewellery that is mass produced by machines, Cactasea pieces are handmade slowly and attentively in a little workshop, so you can rest assured there will never be one piece the same as the next. Created through a slow and considered process, our jewellery is designed to make you feel good and as if you are wearing a little piece of nature’s beauty on your skin wherever you go.
